Lisa Harris

Lisa is a practising solicitor with substantial experience of complex workplace investigations, whether into allegations of discrimination, misconduct or grievances into difficult pay issues.  Investigations she has undertaken include an investigation into allegations of bullying with the requirement to interview a number of witnesses and analyse large amounts of documentation.  Lisa regularly advises on the practicalities of how to carry out an investigation, from the drafting of terms of reference to gathering evidence, planning the questioning of witnesses, determining who should be interviewed and drafting the investigation report.  She reviews draft investigation reports with the aim of producing a clearly written, objective and sound report which considers all the evidence and makes robust findings. She also has experience of drafting investigation reports based on documentation and statements collated by the organisation.

Within the NHS Lisa has considerable experience of investigations conducted under Maintaining High Professional Standards in the Modern NHS (MHPS) into both the conduct and capability of medical practitioners.  She has also delivered training to NHS investigators on carrying out effective investigations.
